	larger image		Exceptionally Small & Lightweight High-Resolution Sensor Delivers Top Accuracy Up To 100°C Sample Temperature VEE GEE® CDX-Series Digital Refractometers perform at the highest level available in a compact digital design. They are exceptionally simple to operate, very small and lightweight, and provide fast and accurate results for liquid solids testing. Easy to Use. Operation consists of placing 1 or 2 drops of a sample on the prism and pressing the READ key; within 2 seconds, the reading is shown on the large LCD display. CDX-Series models easily calibrate with distilled water. Automatic. The LED light source detects the refractive index (nD) of the sample, the thermo-sensor detects current prism temperature, the Brix value is calculated and quickly displayed on the LCD readout. Durable. CDX-Series models feature rugged construction to provide years of reliable use. The water proof (IP65) (An Ingress Protection (IP) Rating of 65 indicates the instrument is totally protected against dust ingress (dust tight); and is protected against low pressure water jets from any direction with limited immersion permitted.) design allows them to be used in humid or harsh conditions; the aluminum sample well with titanium coating stands up to even corrosive materials and allows samples to be easily wiped from the prism. Compact & Portable. The very small size and battery power (AAA) of the CDX-Series models allows them to be used anywhere...the field, plant, or lab. Professional Features. High-Resolution (1024 pixels) linear CMOS sensor; large LCD display with backlight; power auto-off function; battery-level indicator. Efficient Power Capabilities. Will conduct up to 30000 readings before batteries need to be replaced. Dip Directly Into Solutions. The slender design and waterproof rating of the CDX-Series models allows them to be dipped directly into solutions (in beakers, vials, etc.) for quick readings. Simple Cleanup. Can be washed under a faucet allowing the entire instrument to be kept very clean. Hot Sample Testing. Measures samples with temperatures up to 100°C. Automatic Temperature Compensation. Feature a wide ATC range of 10-70°C, allowing the CDX-Series models to be used in exceptionally hot environments. Supplied With: Carrying Strap (1), AAA Battery (2), Instruction Manual (1).
